I am a member of NKF, does that mean I am automatically a member of CRN of GNY as well?

No. CRN of GNY is an affiliate of NKF, but the two maintain separate memberships that entitle you to different types of benefits.

I am a member of the Long Island Chapter of CRN, does that mean I am a member of CRN of GNY as well?

No. The two chapters are independent of one another. You are welcome to join both if geographically feasible.

How does membership work? Is it per calendar year?

No. Membership is active for one year from the date you join.

I have not received a membership card, does that mean I am not a member?

No. At this time, we do not have membership cards. If you have any concerns about your membership, please feel free to contact our membership department (link?)
Now that I am a member, are all the meetings free for me?

The majority of meetings are free as well as the credits offered. However, the all-day conference that we offer is given at a reduced rate to our members.

How will I know when my membership expires?

You will receive notification from our membership department that your membership to CRN of GNY is about to expire. Should you be concerned that you have not received such information, please contact our membership department, which will be more than happy to assist you.

I requested to be notified of meetings and events via e-mail, but so far, I have not received anything?

E-mail lists are updated regularly. Please check your bulk mail prior to deleting it as your messages may be going there. Contact the membership committee if you have not been receiving messages in your regular or bulk mailboxes.

I requested to be notified of meetings and events via US mail, but I have not been receiving anything?

If at all possible, try to provide us with an e-mail address so we can avoid such issues as flyers getting lost in the mail. If you still prefer regular mail, please be sure we have your current address, and inform us if this address changes.
